The Carpenter/Laborer assists in field operations on each assigned construction project. Including the rough carpentry, finish carpentry, cleaning and door/hardware/bath accessory installation to ensure that the goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame.
As our Carpenter/Laborer you will:

General Construction Demolition
-
Complete carpentry operations including but not limited to: rough and finish work, door installation and trim.

Set door frames. Install Doors and Door Hardware

Install Bath Accessories and Partitions
-
Work with materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall
-
Utilize tools such as saws, drills, and sanders to repair and erect structures
-
Join materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives
-
Work on ladders and scaffolding
-
Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure

Identify and report on areas impacted

Remediation of all foreign agents from the structure

Set up proper equipment in order to eliminate additional damage

Evaluate and document readings for acceptable levels

Perform set up and clean up tasks at job sites

The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of commercial construction methods, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication skills; and be organized, efficient and responsive to the needs of our clients.
Experience and Education:

High School Graduate or GED Required

Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record Required

In addition, the employee must be able to move around prospective or current project sites. This includes climbing ladders, walking on uneven surfaces, walking long distances, and climbing stairs.
